'Spirit of Cavett' Volunteer
In 1972 Cavett Robert, CSP, CPAE, had a vision for an organization where professional speakers could convene to learn, exchange ideas and share experiences. In Cavett’s words, "A desire to help others is our most noble attribute; it gives immortal momentum to life and is our only certain path to heaven.” His vision came to fruition when the National Speakers Association was born in 1973. And today the spirit of Cavett continues in NSA-KC . . . the spirit to help others become better speakers and to grow our chapter into the premier professional speaker organization in the Midwest.
We invite our members to maximize their experience through volunteering with our chapter. We have opportunities of all types. Apply your existing skills, develop new ones and support the organization that supports you. Accelerate your learning through volunteering. (Oh, by the way, it's fun too!)
How you can help:

- Contribute ideas to the monthly newsletter.
