Feel free to contact us for more information about any of these events.

We offer several types of professional development and learning experiences. See details below. For the latest updates, including impromptu events, be sure to sign up to receive the email announcements.

Professional Development Workshops

We host several professional development workshops featuring some of the best presenters in NSA. These 4-hour workshops give you unprecedented exposure and opportunity to learn from speakers who are experts in the art and business of speaking. These nationally and internationally renowned mentors provide a wealth of knowledge to guide your professional development and to grow your business. Each of these workshops will be videotaped and made available for a small fee for NSA-KC members who cannot attend.

SNAC (Speakers Networking And Collaborating)

These informal gatherings give members and nonmembers the opportunity to network, share successes about their businesses, and learn more about NSA-KC.

Coffee Chats & Fireside Chats

These members-only, informal gatherings are offered when nationally-known NSA speakers are in town for speaking engagements and available to share their wisdom with us. This is your opportunity to learn from the masters, to metaphorically “sit at the feet” of the best of the best and ask them anything you want about how they have built their business.

Coffee Chats are morning events and Fireside Chats are afternoon or evening events.  The schedule is dependent upon the visiting speaker’s availability. These events are much more intimate than our public offerings and often impromptu as we hear of a speaker who is in town and willing to share their time.  It is best to check the website regularly to see “what’s up.”

We offer webinars featuring NSA national speakers and thought leaders from around the world. These special sessions allow you to relax in the comfort of your home or office and connect with great speakers and mentors.

Brain-Trust / Mind-Meld Evenings

If two minds are better than one, many minds all working in the same direction can be extraordinary!  Our Brain-trust/Mind-meld events allow members to share ideas that are working, get input on things they are struggling with and generally learn from each other in the spirit of "coop-a-tition." These are casual events and we invite members from the 5-state region (who perhaps can't join us in person) to join via Skype or Facetime. While there is usually a theme to the evening, feel free to bring great ideas or areas of challenge that are not theme-related for discussion.

Mastermind Groups

Mastermind groups are formed to help you stay focused and accountable to your vision and purpose. Speakers from the 5-state region can join an existing mastermind group, or create their own groups in a format that is most convenient for them.

Happy Hours

For members and nonmembers, these informal gatherings on select Friday evenings offer the opportunity to relax and learn more about each other and NSA-KC.
